Festival Info

There are two aims of The Big Freeze:

1. Provide an affordable snow experience close to home for Melbourne families.
2. Help families re-discover how to have fun together over the winter months by promoting physical activity, encouraging creativity and remembering the joy of imagination play.

The Big Freeze will be open to the public from Saturday, July 1 to Sunday, July 9 between 9am – 5pm.

Bookings are essential for the snow play sessions, which start every half hour. When purchasing your festival tickets, book in for your preferred snow play session time. Your ticket then provides access to all the festival zones and activities for the rest of your visit. Allow 2 to 3 hours for your visit.
