A favourite of my little boy, turning toilet rolls into racing cars is a perfect activity to either create an instant new toy or fill in a couple of rainy days of boredom. Either use some textas, paper and glue to create a quick car, or if you have more time try a longer project.
Need:
- toilet roll(s) – one per car
- scissors
- cardboard
- glue
- texta
How to:
Paint your toilet roll.
Once dry, cut a hole out of the top. Cut 4 circles out of black card (or paper you have painted black) and then 4 smaller circles out of white paper. Stick the white circle in the middle of the black circle and then attach to the toilet roll. Your car now has wheels!
Decorate you like. Use paint or textas, cut pieces of paper and stick on for greater impact.
