These make a great gift for child care, kinder or school friends or a party favour for a Christmas party. Have all the components prepared and then get the kids to help you put them together.

 

You Will Need:

  • Cadbury Bar Furry Friends
  • Brown Wrapping Paper
  • Red & Brown Cover Paper
  • Goggly Eyes

Useful Items:

Method:

  1. Print the antler outline onto the brown cover paper and cut out each shape.
  2. Print the nose outline onto the red cover paper can and cut out each shape.
  3. Wrap each chocolate in brown wrapping paper. We cut a stripe 10.5cm wide, wrapped around each chocolate and adhered at the back with a piece of sticky tape.
  4. Using the glue stick, attach a pair of antler, eyes and a nose.

Allergy Kids

Don’t forget to check if there are any children with allergies. We use Sweet William Original Mini Bar Multi Pack and stick two mini bars together in place of a Furry Friend.

  • Clear cello treat bags 35mm x 200mm
  • Chocolate coated sultanas
  • Jaffas
  • White Cover Paper

Useful Items:

Method:

  1. Print the bag toppers and cut out each piece.
  2. Fill the treat bags with chocolate coated sultanas and one Jaffa.
  3. Attach the toppers using table or staple

 

Alternative Option:

Use Maltessers in place of the chocolate coated sultanas and pop in a ziplock snack bag. Use the rectangle bag topper printable.

A simple way to decorate your table this Christmas.

 

You Will Need:

  • Polystyrene foam cone
  • A4 Cover Paper in different shades

Useful Items:

  • Hole punches of different sizes
  • Or Circle Outlines – Free Printable
  • Glue Stick

Method:

  1. Make your circles using hole punches or by printing circle outlines onto the cover paper and cutting out.
  2. Apply glue stick directly to the foam cone.
  3. Attach the circles.

Purchase 3 different sized foam cones and decorate for a larger centrepiece.

Finding it hard to entice the kids away from all the seasonal treats?

Turn their afternoon tea into a Christmas tree and problem solved!

You Will Need:

  • Fruit – we used strawberries, cantaloupe, grapes, and kiwi fruit
  • Polystyrene foam cone
  • Toothpicks

Useful Items:

  • Chopping board and knife
  • Cookie cutters (optional)

Method:

  1. Prepare all the fruit. For extra fun, we used a small star cookie cutter for the cantaloupe.
  2. Insert the toothpick into the polystyrene cone.
  3. Place the fruit onto the toothpick.
  4. Continue until the cone is all covered.

While you are whipping up some festive treats, keep the kids busy helping by using your left over cupcake liners to make these simple Christmas tree decorations.

 

You Will Need:

  • Cupcake Liners of different sizes, colours and patterns
  • String or ribbon for hanging
  • Optional – decorations such as glitter, sequins, stars, stickers

Useful Items:

  • Glue stick or sticky tape
  • Scissors

Method:

  1. Fold the cupcake liner in half.
  2. Fold it in half again.
  3. Once you have 3-4 folded, use glue to stick them together. We found we needed to glue and then run a strip of tape down the back for extra strength.
  4. Decorate with any embellishments (optional).
  5. Tape a loop of string or ribbon at the top.
  6. Pop on the Christmas tree.

Gorgeous to use to decorate your home or a beautiful centerpiece on Christmas Day.

You Will Need:

  • Glass Jar
  • Candy Canes
  • Ribbon
  • Red Roses

Useful Items:

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors

Method:

  1. Use the hot glue gun to attach all the candy canes around the outside of the jar.
  2. Wrap the ribbon around and tie a bow.
  3. Scrunch the plastic wrap from around the roses and put it in the jar base.
  4. Cut the roses to size and place in jar using the plastic wrap to hold their position.
  5. Pop some of the rose leaves in between the roses.
  6. Add a little water to the jar.
