While you are whipping up some festive treats, keep the kids busy helping by using your left over cupcake liners to make these simple Christmas tree decorations.

You Will Need:

  • Cupcake Liners of different sizes, colours and patterns
  • String or ribbon for hanging
  • Optional – decorations such as glitter, sequins, stars, stickers

Useful Items:

  • Glue stick or sticky tape
  • Scissors

Method:

  1. Fold the cupcake liner in half.
  2. Fold it in half again.
  3. Once you have 3-4 folded, use glue to stick them together. We found we needed to glue and then run a strip of tape down the back for extra strength.
  4. Decorate with any embellishments (optional).
  5. Tape a loop of string or ribbon at the top.
  6. Pop on the Christmas tree.
